Dueto created the Carlton Arts Festival in 2001, a multi-media event whose theme, “Man and the Machine,” was interpreted artistically by theater director Robert Lepage, electronic musical genius Stockhausen, filmmaker David Cronenberg, and the American fashion house Imitation of Christ. In addition, the festival was the site of an exhibition of work by emerging fashion photographers including Nick Knight, Steven Meisel, and Wolfgang Tillmans.
